as they often use the same engine and manipulate the power output via the software in the ECU – Engine Control Unit.

An excellent example is the new Ford Transit Custom vans. These are powered by the same 2.0-litre TDCi engine, and models are available from the factory in the following power outputs 105hp, 130hp, 170, and 185hp. With no mechanical drivetrain differences and the power is regulated by the software on the ECU.
Our sophisticated programming tools allow us to safely release the available power from your vehicles engine by a process called Engine ECU remapping, and will transform how your van or motorhome drives, pulling hard from low down in the rev range, significantly improving the overall driving experience, requiring less gear changes, and if you drive a lot of miles, less fatigue.

But what makes this even better is that because we optimise your engine for improved efficiency, many of our customers report significant increases in MPG.

We can upgrade your engine to deliver more power where you need it, or assist in permanently resolving AdBlue Issues.

We are also able to remove the majority of factory speed limiters.
(but obviously only where it is legal for us to do so)
The whole process take approximately 90 minutes from start to finish.
